Fax Burner: Send & Receive Fax App Reviews

Everything worked as promised until I actually tried to send the fax. I got this message by return email: "Hello,We do not allow faxing to 867668XXXX." (Number xd out by me.) So I ended up with another fax app and sent a fax to the same fax number without difficulties.

I found myself suddenly needing to send a fax and I had no access to a fax machine. FaxBurner met my needs and it was free and so easy to use!

maybe you should think of something for international use

I urgently needed a document to be faxed and was able to thanks to this app. Never had the need before to receive a fax but this saved my life!!

I purchased 16 or more faxes when they originally had purchases individually as apposed yearly or monthly. I am unable to send any faxes and support is only available if you purchase a monthly or yearly subscription now.

I used this app to send papers i called the company i was sending the papers to they did not get any document this app is misleading.

I used this fax to send some sensitive documents and turns out this app uses other fax numbers of legit businesses and assigns them to individuals who download the app. I sent some documents to IRS and although they received my documents so did someone else who was assigned the same fax number as IRS. The person kindly contacted me to make me aware of the situation. Please be careful!!

This is the most BLATANT case of fake reviews Ive ever seen. Hundreds of "5 stars: so simple and easy to use" all written in similar language, none of which mention the outrageous cost, shady membership agreements or the fact it doesnt bloody work half the time. DO NOT USE EVER!!!

The website nor the app allow me to paste a generated password from my password manager, nor does it have MFA. Im not putting in a simple password in something I trust for communications of possibly confidential and formal nature such as Fax.

I needed to send a fax for a job whose closing date was the same day at 4:30pm. I usually go to OfficeMax which charges almost $2 per page for a fax. I had 6 pages (including cover page) and knew I wasnt going to make it to the store by the job closing time so I started looking for apps that did the trick. Some apps had $2.99 for 50 credits which would go to waste since I only ever fax a couple pages once or twice a year. The "free" ones let you fax one or 2 pages for free and then have to buy credits. I found this one and it said up to 5 pages free!!! Thats crazy. So I decided to dump my cover page. It lets you create a cover page and not include it as one of the 5 pages which is even better!!! So I simply compressed my cover into the box and sent the fax. Boom! Success. I got a call a little while ago about said position. Thank you so much for being available for those of us who need a quick fax and cant bear all the loopholes from other apps. I highly recommend this app for anyone sending a quick fax once a year. Thank you!

I sent my fax after trimming it down to the 5 free pages. I was then sent an error message saying I had went over and needed to upgrade account. Id be ok with this had the app not told me I was still within the five pages before I sent it. Not only had the fax not sent but they still counted that as my free five credits despite not sending them.

This app has no tech support. I paid to keep my fax number. The payment cleared and the fax number is going away in less than an hour. Im waiting for very important documents to come through and there is no way to contact any support. The email support link is disabled and I have searched the website to find no assistance. What a dissapointment.

Awesome program. Went to Office Depot and they wanted to charge me a "$1" a fax! This program is a life saver

This is the only fax sender I could find that has actually worked! It also creates a cover page for you as well if you like and sends email confirmations upon the document being sent. Great job!!

I read about this app on the Internet in a Macworld article by Jason Cipriani. He compared several iOS apps and preferred this one. His review was right on! This app worked quickly and I instantly faxed one document without miss, fuss or money! It created a number and a cover page for me and allowed me to use the photo of a document I had in my camera gallery! Thank you so much for making a dreary job painless!! :)

This app works very well for me when Im on the go I can fax my work from the road to my office or to my customers however I do think the app limits you to 5 pages a day but i never needed to send 5 pages in one day but over all great app love it

I paid to upgrade the app to allow for a higher number of pages. Not only have I wasted my money, but have also wasted my time trying to resolve this problem.

Dont waste your time-not reliable.
